“We switched from the 'onsite' home healthcare company at my mom's independent community to Griswold after repeated problems with the onsite company.

Griswold was a breath of fresh air. They stepped in and immediately starting bringing order to years of chaos in my mom's living situation. My mom and her husband both had dementia and he also had physical limitations. His family kept his care with the onsite company caregivers and my mom received care from a Griswold caregiver. It was a challenging environment overall with the clients' needs and the onsite agency pointing out any failures with caregivers and stirring up my stepfather's family.

With any caregiver agency there will be problems with certain caregivers. Griswold took hands-on responsibility to train workers or move them when they weren't able to work well with my mom due to her limitations and personality.

Theresa, the scheduler and office manager came out multiple times and diplomatically handled all these difficult situations. She restored order in my mom's situation and worked to find excellent caregivers that made my mom happy and successful in her situation. Ongoing problems with my mom that the previous caregiving company had been unable to solve for years were finally resolved.

I have nothing but great things to say about Griswold of Burlington. They made a much smoother life in the midst of a very trying situation. I finally starting getting some peace when they took over! My mom was happy, and I wasn't dealing with minor emergencies all the time, since they took responsibility to address her needs proactively.

I have worked with 5 different care agencies with my mom. Griswold has been by far the most responsive, adaptable, and caring agency I have worked with.“
