Jamie and Kat provided the hair and makeup services for my wedding on 4/22/2023 at Overlook Barn in Banner Elk, NC. I highly recommend them both!I reached out to multiple hair and makeup vendors in the High Country. I chose Shear Shakti because they offered both hair and makeup services onsite, included a hair and makeup trial, and were the most affordable for the number of services needed (4). Shear Shakti is working with limited personnel right now, but they still communicated promptly and professionally which I really appreciated.My maid-of-honor and I were both happy with how our hair and makeup turned out. I get very nervous changing my hair and this was my first time coming here, but I couldn’t be happier! I wanted a shaggy mullet and Jamie did a great job. She used a razor to do it and explained everything perfectly to me as she was doing it. The salon itself is super cute as well!
