My only real recommendation is about the bedding. With temperatures that vary like they do I would have preferred something more like layering my bed covers— kind of like I do with my clothes when I'm outside.
Lovely conference with Lorie Ladd. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Accommodations were comfy and spacious but I don't know how comfy in the summer without AC. But AC is not good for us so I get it. There was a large fan in each room. The grounds were glorious and the shuttle service was easy to use. Lots of parking.
Beautiful retreat center and kind staff! My stay was so wonderful. From the time in nature, to peaceful spaces, to the delicious food, shuttle rides, classes offered, and gift shop...it was my perfect first retreat. I'll be back!
