Dr. Chesnutt is one of the best vets in Boone. He and his staff really care for their patients- both human and animal. They are always quick to work me in when my cat Bug isn't feeling well. The front desk workers are always kind and understanding. I think they also have the best prices in Boone. Couldn't recommend Dr. Chesnutt enough!

I will never take my dogs to any other vet. I recently rescued orphaned puppies ( 2 days old ), who had severe respiratory illnesses they got from their mom. Every other vet and hospital I took them to said they will not make it and suggested I put them down. I ended up buying an oxygen crate ( Amazon ) and Dr. Watson Called in an order for an oxygen Concentrator. All they needed was oxygen, antibiotics, calories, fluids & lots of love. They are 13 weeks old now, very strong & healthy. This practice is also VERY affordable. They really care about animals here. I recently have been bringing in my kitty, Lucy for some urinary problems. I called, told them the issues and they were able to bring her in the same day. They've been so helpful, kind and compassionate towards me and her! Their excitment when they see my cat makes me so happy. The staff is wonderful!
