Our project included major renovations to our kitchen and master bathroom, replacing three toilets, refinishing hardwood floors on the main floor, replacing all shower heads in four bathrooms, repainting the entire interior of our home, and repairing and painting the railings on our front porch. Throughout the process, clear and consistent communication was a hallmark of the Semper Fi team.

RJ, our estimator, was thorough and transparent, ensuring we fully understood the scope and cost of the project from the start. Ali, the in-house designer, brought creativity and a keen eye for detail to every decision, helping us shape spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

However, it was Aaron, our project manager, who truly stood out. At several stages along the way, Aaron found ways to save us money without compromising on quality, which we greatly appreciated. His proactive approach to cost-saving measures demonstrated his dedication not only to the project’s success but also to our satisfaction as clients. Aaron also made sure that our older appliances, which were still in working order, were repurposed or donated, minimizing the environmental impact of our renovation. This level of care and responsibility is rare and speaks volumes about the values that Semper Fi upholds.

We also want to extend our appreciation to the full-time staff, including John, Devar, and Andrew, who provided extra attention and care throughout the project. “Joe Hallock, the owner, was the only one that responded to my request on Yelp for a quote. Joe was always very professional and pleasant. His quote was competitive with others I had obtained from companies out of Charlotte. He communicated his schedule up front and was always on time. One thing that separated Joe from the others is that he was willing to move furniture before and after the floors were refinished. He offered a complete "turn-key" solution to my flooring problems. Joe and his team did an excellent job of replacing a few damaged boards and then refinishing the entire area. He kept to his original schedule and kept me informed of any changes. The final bill came in a little less than the quote because time spent moving furniture was less than expected and a few other items on the original quote ended not being needed. They took good care to drape off the rest of the house in order to minimize the spread of dust. Overall, I'm very happy with the work and would highly recommend New Earth Flooring. I will use them again for my floor refinishing needs.“
