“DR McCorkle recently did dental surgery on my senior dog. The dog recovered nicely with a healthier mouth. Dr. Mc Corkle is treating my cat for blood in her urine, methodically and one step at a time, to find the real cause. I have taken her to two other clinics with no results. He discusses his treatment plans and all involved with them. He is very gentle and caring with my cat. He does not do unnecessary tests. The staff are kind and professional. I would recommend Dr McCorkle and Mountain Valley Vet Hospital to anyone wanting quality care for their pets.“

“So happy with my puppy’s care here. Had his 4 month “well puppy” visit, as he was new to me. His breeder was a veterinarian herself, and had some specific recommendations re: vaccination schedule. His “new” vet was totally sympathetic, and made supportive recommendations to accommodate her preferences.<br>Always get a prompt call back when needed.<br>Very satisfied with his care. “Initially, my pet rat was referred to Dr Bolt by my regular vet due to a worsening condition. Dr Bolt's knowledge in treating exotics is second to none. His practice has the specialized equipment necessary for diagnostics and medical treatment of very small pets. Dr Bolt's exams are thorough and his knowledge immense. After a detailed explanation of the issues he found with my rattie, he presented me with several treatment options depending on what I felt comfortable with. Dr Bolt is now my go-to veterinarian for all three of my rattie boys. I cannot recommend him enough. And huge hugs to Michelle and LeighAnn at Sweeten Creek Animal and Bird Hospital for being the sweetest, most caring ladies!! A friendly voice on the line and bright, welcoming smiles in person mean a lot to me, especially when my rattie boy is having a difficult time.“

“If you are looking for a vet for your new pet you can’t find a better place than Animal Hospital South. They have been carrying for our dogs for the last 9 years and we could not be happier. They really do care about your pets health and well-being. We just recently had to put our dog Ginger down. While it was one of the hardest decisions we have even had to make, they helped us thought he process and made sure that she was comfortable. We just received a card from the staff. Not only did they take the time to send us the card but each staff member took the time to write a personal message. It was a very special surprise. Thank you all for taking care of our sweet Ginger. “I had a wonderful experience with one of my cats at The Cat Clinic of Asheville, and after visiting several other animal hospitals in the area, I can truly say I have found a new veterinary home for my feline family. Dr. Annie King is bright, astute, personable, thorough, and efficient. Her assistant, Crystal, is skilled, intelligent, and compassionate. This particular cat has been known to give veterinary staff a bit of a hard time, but she clearly trusted this staff from the start and allowed them to help her. Cats know how to read people, and mine gives them an unopposable thumbs up! The practice is beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and geared toward a fear-free experience. They have rules, as every well-run practice does. This minimizes stress for patients, clients, veterinarians, and staff. I was surprised to see a one-star review, but then understood the frustration with the traffic on I-26; it should be noted that this practice allows drop-offs if you do happen to be late for your appointment. Dr. King mentioned that she enjoys challenging cases - this is further evidence that she is one smart cookie! All three of their vets graduated from excellent veterinary schools. I am grateful that they have created this wonderful practice in the Asheville area!“
