These folks are the BEST! We just love both Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Bertelli due to their incredible compassion, knowledge, support and care. We've been going to them for a long while and I couldn't sing their praises any louder!!!

East Asheville Family Vet is great! Dr. Bertelli is wonderful with my 18 yr. old girls and takes her time with each one of them. She actually gets down on the floor at their level to treat them. She is such a loving and caring doctor. I am so thankful for her. All the staff are very nice. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I contacted East Asheville Family Vet because my dog’s veterinarian was not available till the following week. They worked me in the next day and what I thought was a simple mouth issue turned out to be devastating news. The veterinarian was very kind and sensitive when delivering the news as well as informative and straightforward. They were able to get my baby in the very next day for surgery/biopsy and insured my baby was well taken care of. Penelope does not normally leave my side when taken to the vet and I have to “fake” her out when they take her back like I am going with her, she willingly went with staff which tells me all I need to know about trusting... read full review
