“I have had a wonderful experience at Woolfson Eye Institute in Asheville. My eye doctor in Hendersonville recommended Dr. Gabriel Scott for a lower and upper eye blepharoplasty to improve my peripheral vision. I also opted for the periocular laser treatment under my eyes. Dr. Scott was very attentive to me at all my visits. I opted to have the procedure done in the office, as opposed to having the anesthesia. I would recommend paying the extra money to have the anesthesia if you tend to have any anxiety about being worked on. Dr. Scott and his team calmed my nerves by talking to me throughout the procedure to let me know exactly what to expect before they did it. I did develop an allergy to the antibiotic eye drops that I had to apply for a week postop. I was able to communicate with Dr. Scott and send pictures of how my eyes were reacting to the drops. I felt that he gives all of his patients the postop care that they need to assure proper healing is taking place. Before my 3-month post-op visit, I was weed-eating in my yard and threw a stick in my face, which caused an infection to start spreading toward my eye. I called the institute, as opposed to my family doctor, and they scheduled me an appointment immediately. Dr. Scott fit me into his busy schedule to treat the infection, even though it was a totally separate incident. I am very pleased at the outcomes of this surgery, and would recommend if anyone wants this procedure, please visit Dr. Gabriel Scott at Woolfson Eye Institute. You will not be disappointed in the results.“
