“I went to Zhenya years ago looking to begin a “long-term” relationship with one hair stylist…I wanted to have the kind of relationship where this person would become more and more familiar with my hair, my personality, my seasons, etc., and where I could feel that this person would grow to care about creating beauty for my external looks. Through each interaction with Zhenya I learned how this type of interaction (like all relationships) is a two-way street! That this would require my participation and that I needed to find ways to be clear in communicating to her where I was in my life at each appointment, and what I was needing.
2 years in and I feel blessed being measure to reflect with how important this experience with Zhenya has been for my own personal growth and confidence. I appreciate every moment of time spent in the salon among so much beauty and beauty-producers. I had Baylea and Connie for my hair and makeup. They captured my vision and made me look beautiful! I normally don't wear too much makeup and Connie made it look very natural but elevated. Also, it did not feel too heavy. Baylea did my hair in a sleek bun and it held up all night through the dancing. We also had Hailey for the bridal party, and she did a great job as well. They were all so nice on the day and everyone got along very well. Working with Della Terra Beauty was a wonderful experience for me.“
