For $1500. my post construction cleaning consisted of a crew of very nice but totally unsupervised and inexperienced cleaners who had no cleaning products and few cleaning devices. They did not have a vacuum cleaner that worked on carpet. They had dust mops but no wet mops. They left dirty wet rags on my new carpet, and wet buckets on my new hardwoods. They didn't know how to mop oneself out of a room . . . ie no plan of attack. The (probable) owner was there for a few minutes and then left the unsupervised crew to apparently do a regular cleaning. When she returned at the end of the day she couldn't speak a sentence without 5 F words in it and I had to ask her to get out of my house. Can you gather I recommend against? My husband came in and ran his finger on the kitchen countertop and it came up full of dust . . .
