Chris Hargrove advertises himself as a social worker who provides psychological counseling. When I met with him, however, he engaged in the ol' "bait and switch." It turns out he provides one-on-one meditation instruction! According to his own description of his MO, he instructs clients to identify past traumas, trains them in "witness consciousness," and then -when they they have attained "witness consciousness" to HIS satisfaction- he feeds the patient's traumas back to them while they attempt to sustain "witness consciousness."
