Dr Ulke always goes above and beyond for the animals. He made sure we understood something the pharmacy had done on one of our dog's prescriptions,even on a weekend. We are grateful for him and Evergreen.

Our sweet baby, Josie, that we've had for a little over 10 years (we rescued her from the shelter, they estimated her age then at around 4-5 years, so she was around 15 years old) became sick over the weekend. We took her in to see Dr Ulke on Tuesday, they did an X-ray and found a couple of masses in her abdomen. He was quick to make the decision for her to have surgery, it had to be done at another vet with a specialist. They did an ultrasound and tried to do surgery to remove the masses, but in the end, it was just too much for our sweet girl. We lost her during surgery. But what really touched us was that Dr Ulke called us the day after we lost Josie to express his condolences and talk to us for a while. He didn't have to take time out of his evening to do that, but he did and we are very appreciative. Josie was one of a kind, such a beautiful, smart and sweet dog! We are gonna miss you and the "bounce-bounce", Jojo. You made a home in our hearts, it feels empty without your little face around here. And your brothers and sisters miss you, they've all been going around the house and yard looking for their pack leader, our little queen! We love you Jojo! We couldn't have asked for any better care than what we got at Evergreen. Thank you Dr Ulke & staff for all your kindness and care. Y'all are truly special and wonderful people.
