Malia is attentive and provides individualized attention to your needs and goals. She gave me new exercises to try at home and provided insight into how all parts of the body interact. This was immensely helpful. I thought I had a knee issue - turns out I needed to strengthen my glute and hip areas. This has made all the difference. I'm back to 100%. Scratch that - I'm at 110%! “I have to say I started coming here because I had developed a frozen shoulder, received a shot by an orthopedic doctor who then suggested physical therapy which I did for a few months. I was about 90percent better and the physical therapist said to continue the exercises but they were going to release me. A few months later and I was still having pains doing certain things like buckling my seatbelt. My husband had started getting massages here and suggested that I give Emily a try.I decided to go once a week for 4 weeks to see how it would go. Then I started every other week and then once a month. Now I've moved back to 3 weeks because monthly just wasn't enough. It's like her hands can read my areas of tightness or stress like a book. I've been visiting Nina for several years, I discovered her through a Groupon 6 or 7 years ago and try to get to her a couple of times a year. She's very professional, provides a relaxing and calming space, and gives a great a great massage. She offers package deals with multiple massages, and I tend to treat myself to these each holiday to help lessen the cost through the year. I can't not recommend Nina's services enough. “I have been to Rituals many times over the years & it seems to have gone down hill since my last visit a few years ago. Rituals Spa offered a pleasant experience with friendly and attentive staff who gathered details about my skin and routine prior to the facial to ensure no negative interactions. The facial provided a relaxing environment, leaving my skin glowing. While the therapist was sweet, the outdated facility was underwhelming, needing some major attention. I wished for more explanation on products used during my facial, as no information was shared & would have liked if the therapist ensured no irritation or discomfort during the facial due to products. Despite this, the therapist respected my preference for quiet time. I payed $65 for my "custom facial" which I thought was a fair price for lasting almost an hour. However after the treatment I did not feel it was worth the price. Being a longstanding establishment, Rituals Spa appealed to me as a choice to support a local business over a big conglomerate med spa. Recognizing each therapist has their unique approach, I would be intrigued to explore other practitioners for a varied experience.“
