I simply cannot say enough positive things about Karate International of Apex. The dojo is run by Mr. Wade Houston & Ms. Celie Houston. They truly treat you like family, from day one we have felt very welcomed. Shihan Houston is a highly skilled instructor and the program is very well structured. My daughter has been there about 4 years now and undoubtedly Karate has been one of the most positive extracurricular activity for her. She is learning great technique and I am amazed how far she has come. At a recent luncheon hosted for the Morrisville Police & Fire department, she was highly praised for demonstrating some karta & board breaking skills. The annual karate tournament presented her with a wonderful platform to uplift her self-confidence and overcome fears. She has gained a better sense of self-discipline, respect and responsibility through the karate school. We can’t wait to have my younger daughter start dojo soon here. She is so inspired seeing her sister. Mr. & Mrs. Houston are so kind hearted & wonderful people to be associated with. Looking forward to many more years!
Wade Houston is a patient and direct instructor for children who are easily distracted. It has been a great experience in learning the discipline of karate with a firm but gracious hand as well as a great way to run off excess energy in our son.
