I question the knowledge and/or integrity of the Deeter Real Estate agent (G. Lunsford) who was the selling agent in a recent real estate transaction where I was the buyer. The MLS pictured and listed a "garage" (apparently in the form of a metal carport/shelter). However the sellers removed the carport/shelter from the property prior to closing. When my realtor inquired about it and informed Deeter that the carport should transfer with the property since it was not listed as an exclusion in the signed, legally binding contract, Mr. Lunsford informed my agent that it was listed in the MLS as an exclusion. Having never bought a house with a septic tank we were unaware of what to look for when it came to “red flags” with septic tanks and permits. We used a realtor with this company that allowed us to go all the way through purchasing the house knowing it was only permitted for a 2 bedroom house but we bought it as a 3 bedroom house. I will say on the paperwork we signed it did say septic permit for 2 bedroom but before goin through the issues we are now going through I had no idea that it meant it would only support 2 bedrooms and not anymore.
