I first encountered Elite through the recommendation of a friend as a resource to help me manage my daughter's hair. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and we were blessed to be scheduled with Ms. Taj. Not only does she do the most beautiful and intricate styles, but she is so patient and kind with children, especially ones like mine who have a significant aversion to having their hair washed and styled. She has been such a tremendous blessing to me and has given me the gift of restored quality time with my daughter. My daughter visits Ms. Taj on a semi-regular basis as work permits, but even in the few in-between times where I've had to style her hair again, she has empowered me to do it better and made it so much easier to manage by teaching me different techniques through observation, recommending the right products, and helping achieve the best natural state through moisturizing treatments. Her hair looks so healthy and she loves it when it's done! Ms. Taj is even inspiring her to want to become a hair care specialist one day. Given the excellent experience for my daughter, I also tried the Lavish smoothing system for myself. It has definitely allowed me to wear my curls down more confidently with less frizz, and when I do straighten it, it stays smoother and straighter than any competitor product or system I have tried in the area (namely keratin treatments). It also smells and feels way less chemical-infused and is very affordable. So far I have been very happy with the results. We are thankful Elite took us both on as clients and that they continue to work with us and teach us. The owner's passion and knowledge for her craft is evident and we appreciate her and her team's expertise and finesse!
They not only treat their clients so amazing, but they also guide and teach about proper hair care. They are all so friendly and knowledgeable.
