I was planning a surprise proposal for my girlfriend of 9 years and our friends were flying in from around the country. Naturally, I was very anxious for everything to go smoothly.
Things Polly did: - Polly knew of a stunning spot off the main road at big bend. The exact proposal spot required a hike off the road. We spent 1 hour video calling where she detailed the exact spot using google maps and satellite imagery. She even sent a video of her walking the trail the next day to be sure. - Because there is no phone signal, Polly covertly dropped off walkie talkies at our airbnb! We coordinated by text to make sure we weren’t home, and she hid them under some logs by the house. - At the actual spot, Polly acted as a nature photographer to not tip off my fiance. She did such a good job that even my friends (who knew of the surprise) thought the photographer didn’t show up!
And of course, the photos were exceptional. It was a day of adventure with our closest friends and Polly was our guide and storyteller. We will cherish the experience and our photos for years to come.“
