Upon our visit to Yellowstone, we definitely checked out the museum as well. It was very informative and we spent a lot of time here. Room by room you get a lot of information. The museum was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the room that allowed you to sit down and watch a short film speaking on the history of Yellowstone. I highly recommend it.

I loved this little museum. Learned that West Yellowstone is the towns 5th name. Enjoyed the transportation examples. Lots of other Yellowstone information. $10 for an adult. Learned a lot. Worth the stop.

While the museum might be small, it's not lacking. There is so much cool info tucked in here. My kids loved the haunted changing room, what can I say, they take after their mom lol. They also got a scavenger hunt to complete which made them actually read and look at what was going on. Seriously, way more fun then I expected it to be.
