I fell in love with Oula when I lived in Missoula. Whether I went to class at the studio, at my local Y, or at another facility, I knew I was entering a safe and welcoming space where I could connect with my body and my emotions on the dance floor, AND get an amazing workout at the same time. Kali is an intuitive and generous human who has created a beautiful thing. I live in Los Angeles now, and became a certified instructor last May. Oula is a way to get a cardio workout without even knowing you're doing it because you;re always thinking about the next dance move, not how much longer do I have on the Stairmaster. Loads of fun! And the studio is a wonderful, inclusive, welcoming place to do it. The person who complained about the studio has an ax to grind about finances and then belittles the whole experience. I am way older than her and I have always felt welcome and included. People of all abilities, ages, weights, appearance come to the studio all the time and come back repeatedly for the magic. I'd say there's not a less judgmental place in town!!

Oula has been a great class to learn new dance moves, become more confident in myself, and meet me friends. Kali, the owner, has such a genuine and kind spirit about her and she is so encouraging. I feel the class is much different and more personal than other fitness classes I've taken, and I get a great workout! The sense of community is very strong and supportive. I love that the moves can be modified for any fitness level and with injuries or mobility issues in mind. The instructors are great at showing easier/alternative moves. I am thankful for Oula!
