Over the last year or so I've been getting my guitars in order, searching to make them perfect playing instruments. I've brought in acoustics, and multiple electrics. A Gibson J45, multiple Fender's, a Heritage Custom shop H-150, a Gretsch white falcon and a duo jet. Lon's work at Greg Boyd's shop is great and has only gotten better. You can trust them with your holy grail guitars. I've never been judged for being picky about what I'm after and feel like everyone in the shop has wanted to help. Wow. I don't know who in their right mind could leave a review of anything less than 5 stars for this shop. I showed up about 45 minutes before it was time for them to close. I had a tough time finding it because it's literally a house, and there isn't any marketing outside that says Boyd's. I called and they were like, yes it's the house, come on in. For people who know... this place is a Mecca. I spent 10 years in Austin, and went to every guitar shop we had. First of all, Collings (built in ATX), you might find a shop with 3 MAYBE 4 of them in some of Austin's best shops. Boyd's got a whole wall full of them. I've never been... read full review
Greatest place in Missoula, the owner(greg) is so knowledgeable as well as the staff. One of a kind instruments ,very good prices....not to mention his repair shop..very cool place.
