Graybeal Heating & Air Conditioning

I could not recommend this company more. I called this morning about my AC not working well, Vance came out diagnosed the issue replaced it in less than an hour and now we are enjoying a cool house. Wonderful experience and will be recommending them to all my friends and family!

My 17 yr old Lennox furnace went out a month ago (Jan 2024). I researched highly rated HVAC companies in Missoula, not paying attention to whether they were "sponsored" or not. The first company, Garden City, sent a tech out - a$98 service call - who declared a cracked heat exchange, disabled my furnace and determined it needed replacing. The bid was 19K which included an (unnecessary) electrical upgrade. I got 2 other pricey bids and then on a friend's recommendation called Graybeal.Vance, the owner of Graybeal, came out with his assistant Dennis, hooked up the wires that had been clipped by Garden City and started it up. First of all. I’d recommend ignoring most IF NOT ALL the negative reviews below. The negative reviewers either don’t know what HVAC means or just happened to call the wrong professional service for their needs. If you have a legitimate HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) System!! Key word here is System people. Graybeal are the GO TO CREW for me as a property manager that manages several good old Missoula rentals. Typical older furnaces and A/C units tucked away in typical Missoula crawl spaces. I’ve had 3 furnaces go out in the last 2 years and these guys have saved me every time!! They were there within hours when needed (twice on weekend in -15 degrees)... read full review
