Gave me an estimate the next day and started work a few days later. Was a difficult job; working on a very steep pitch, two stories high, and had to remove the shakes and thousands of nails before installing new steel. Needed to have the shake roof replaced on my 110 year old two story barn. Found RC Contracting of Mt on the internet, phoned the owner and he and his co-worker Dez traveled 45 miles that day to look at the job. Gave me an estimate the next day and started work a few days later. Was a difficult job; working on a very steep pitch, two stories high, and had to remove the shakes and thousands of nails before installing new steel. Finished the job quickly and it looks very good. Roof will easily last another 100 years.Was so impressed, asked them to re-roof my house. Had thirty-plus year old metal in bad shape. They removed the old metal, installed 1/2 inch OSB sheeting and water proof paper on all surfaces, and snow/ice paper along the edges and around the large chimney. The new metal looks great and is firmly attached to the sheeting and beams. No more wind noise or metal banging during high winds. Have also contracted with them to replace the metal on my equipment shed. Will happen later this winter.Overall, an outstanding experience. Ricky, Dex and Jerome are very competent, cordial, hard workers who are a pleasure to associate with. Their bids are fast and reasonable, they use high quality material, and guarantee their work. I highly recommend these folks for any roofing or siding projects.
