We have used TruGreen for a number of years but unfortunately there customer service has taken a turn for the worst. They recently charged our bank card over $1,000 for a treatment on a property that we didn't own, and haven't for years. Apparently they keep banking and card info for past properties on file. We had to bring the charge to thier attention, then were told they could not correct the mistake charge in a timely manner and it had to go to their corporate offices, out of the area, and would be weeks before we would receive a refund. Don’t waste your time. This company lacks customer service & common sense. Had an estimate done for our yard and then had to wait a month to talk to the technician who did the estimate. Once we finally talked to him and went over the estimate, he said I could pay ahead and get on the schedule for the next 2-3 weeks. I told him I’d talk to my husband and call back the next day. Called back and spoke to an office lady who told me that she wasn’t sure why he said that, but they cannot guarantee any time frame. They cannot even give you an estimate of the time frame it will be done in. They wanted me to pay for a service not knowing if it would even happen this summer...read full review

Driving through Somers headed to work yesterday, a TrueGreen pickup truck traveling too fast, crossed the middle line came into my lane nearly colliding with the the vehicle in front of me. Phoned TruGreen office- left a vm with my phone number explaining what just happened. No call back, no response whatsoever. Not a good look.
