About Tizer Botanic Garden & Arboretum
Tizer Botanic Garden & Arboretum is a charming and rustic 4.5-acre botanical garden located in the Helena area. Despite facing some challenges after the passing of the master gardener owner, the garden still offers a great selection of healthy plants and trees. Visitors are captivated by the amazing Rocky Mountain beauty and the sense of wonder in the relatively small space. The helpful staff provide excellent customer service and are knowledgeable about the diverse plant collection. Tizer Botanic Garden & Arboretum is a must-see destination for nature enthusiasts.
Lovely gardens. This place really is a work of love. Lots of different native plants and trees to look at and their nursery is great also. Have purchased several permanent bushes and trees for our yard, and all have done well.
This is a place you must visit if you want to get away from your day to day bustle. Sit down, drink some tea and take a deep breath. And then one more and so on

This is one of the most amazing botanical gardens I've visited. I've been to some major botanical gardens at large cities who have multi million dollar budgets and Tizer is nothing like them. It's only 4.5 acres but it's rustic, Rocky Mountain amazing everywhere you turn. There is an amazing amount of wonder in a relatively small space. You have to wander every path and sit in a few different places to really appreciate the beauty. I recommend bringing a book or magazine, grab a lemonade at the gift shop and sit in one of the chairs with your feet in the creek. This is a must see while in the Helena area.
