Walmart Vision & Glasses

I went to Walmart to get new glasses last Saturday I was told the eye Dr. had called out sick by an employee in the vision center. I then asked what the hours were and if there were walk ins they said yes and gave me the hours. Due to it being hard to get transportation because of my disability I had to wait until today to go. I get pushed into the clinic at 1245 pm the Dr. Tells me no walk ins by appointment only. Kinda sad the office was empty ? she must like it that way. Just goto Vision Works across Goodman rd. Atleast they take walk ins and the prices are cheaper ? ?

To Walmart Corporation and the Southaven, MS location. (store 00848).I'm writing this review to compliment an exceptional associate, Natasha Davis .(Vision Center /Store 00848 ) She is outstanding. I have been buying glasses from Ms. Davis for the past several years. Never have had one issue with my glasses (wish I could say that about the Optometrist Office) and the experience was not only thorough, but fun. Ms. Davis has a very pleasant personality, she is courteous, very engaging, and it is apparent, well educated in her field.They always say the customer is not an outsider in a business, butthey are part of it. All of the associates who I have dealt with here have been great. They are so nice and take time to explain all options for glasses. I ordered two pairs for my son who has EXTREMELY severe astigmatism(8.5+)in addition to other eye problems. They offered more frame options than any other eye center I have been to for my son's extreme prescription, usually he has only has four or five at best they will put lenses with his scrip in. Here they let him chose any frames he wanted. They also have strict covid protection measures here(temp check, questionnaire before entry and anything you touch in your visit is put in box for sanitation before it os returned to display, no customers...read full review
