This is an old school barber shop of 40+ years where the conversation alone is worth the wait and the value. The barbers are all good and take their time. Folks have favorites but the wait times are always short, but like I say, hearing the hunting, fishing and other such news and the east going local atmosphere, can't be beat.

I lived in Oxford from April 2018-June 2019, this was the only real barber shop in town at the time. New to the town and needed to find a barber ASAP. I went for the first time asking for a mid-fade, older blonde female in the middle was the only person available. So I went to her, she quickly and a little rough did the haircut. Definitely was not a fade at all and knocked it out in less than 10 minutes. The fastest haircut I have ever gotten in my life. I was surprised and definitely a little disappointed. I just didn't say anything and took what I got. She was quiet and didn't talk much, so I wasn't sure if she was having a bad day or that's her normal self, but that was the last time I went to her for a haircut. After that, there was a younger bigger white gentleman with a nice beard to the right of her that I went to after. every time I went and got perfect service from him. I don't remember his name. Cool and talkative. I eventually caught on, that she was always available for a cut and people would tell her "I'll just wait for him". So clearly it wasn't just me. After Moving back to California, I always think about him and the shop and hope they're doing well because again the only barber I went too in Oxford.

These guys are the real deal. Talk fishing, politics, the weather and all things Oxford and Ole Miss. As a newcomer to Mississippi, I highly recommend stopping by and seeing this 40 year old barber shop. You’ll get a clean cut ( nothing fancy ) and a hot shave and be treated to good and professional service. You’ll leave with new friends.
