There are a lot of reasons why Belle and Beau has been around for almost 35 years. First of all, the entire staff can flat out cut some hair. They are all talented veterans with a lot of experience. It doesn't matter if it is men, women, children, haircuts, colors, highlights, foils, or perms. They are experts at everything. One of the girls is a certified barber and can do a military cut like nobody's business. My wife had her hair done there for our wedding and they did an amazing job. Very versatile group of hairdressers. Second on the list is that they are reasonably priced. Great value for the money, probably the best in town. Thirdly, they are prompt and reliable. In 20 years, I can count on one hand the number of times I waited past my appointment time. Lastly, they are courteous and friendly, some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I highly recommend this business, you can't beat it. I live in Virginia these days and pay fifty dollars for a haircut that is half the quality. I probably miss haircuts at Belle and Beau more than anything else in Hattiesburg; right up there with the cheese-chili dogs at Ward's.
