But in itawumba county there's no animal controlWe saw MS DOT and a bunch of other people stop to speculate the nursing mama dog here on 9/25/23 she's in decent health not covered in fleas or ticks and her puppies are in the treeline. We gave her kibble (as we are traveling with our 2 dogs and 5 cats currently to Arizona) the sheriff's department does not pick up animals and I asked " so you're just gonna leave her" and they said "yeah". Well ok then. Hopefully someone who can bring her to a shelter or humane society will read this and help the mama and puppies. Treemont MS rest stop.“
