    I was just turned away from their walk in clinic because the “do not” prescribe insulin via walk in. You must have a primary care physician. My appointment was set for two weeks away. Diabetics beware. This life or death situation needs to be planned ahead of time. If you know you are moving to the area, this is the largest hospital nearby to Arkansas / Missouri border without a long drive. Make sure you have your original physician at home write your RX so you do not have to depend on these people. This is not normal in other states.

    We walked into an elderly friend's room for a visit. It was absolutely filthy. Medical trash all over the floor. Dried diarrhea trail from the bed to the bathroom. Patient stated that he had told nurses he was freezing cold while a chair on the other side of the room was stacked with blankets. Patient stated he yelled for a long time and pushed call button for someone to come and help him when he felt like he was getting sick. No one came. He was forced to throw up on himself. Nurses put patient on a no drink no food diet without Drs. order so they wouldn't have to clean him up again.
