“I wish to express my family's appreciation to the staff of Compassus Hospice Care, West Plains, MO. I am currently struggling with End Stage COPD, I have frequent exacerbations and/or acute flare-ups resulting in a low quality of life. Compassus home visit nurses always conduct themselves in a very professional manner. While checking my vital signs and meds, the nurses always inquire about my pain level. All Compassus meds are explained to us in detail (how much to take and when to take) for air hunger and to promote pulmonary toileting (reduce the struggle to breathe and assist in my COMFORT). Nurses offer to listen and answer any questions about Compassus services. Always a very family friendly encounter. SHOUT OUT to RN Lisa, she is a super knowledgeable nurse with many years of experience, and has a great personality.
