“I wish to express my family's appreciation to the staff of Compassus Hospice Care, West Plains, MO. I am currently struggling with End Stage COPD, I have frequent exacerbations and/or acute flare-ups resulting in a low quality of life. Compassus home visit nurses always conduct themselves in a very professional manner. While checking my vital signs and meds, the nurses always inquire about my pain level. All Compassus meds are explained to us in detail (how much to take and when to take) for air hunger and to promote pulmonary toileting (reduce the struggle to breathe and assist in my COMFORT). Nurses offer to listen and answer any questions about Compassus services. Always a very family friendly encounter. SHOUT OUT to RN Lisa, she is a super knowledgeable nurse with many years of experience, and has a great personality. “Very dependable has good communication skills since fillings when you’re aid isn’t able to make it or hours get made up very friendly. Does background checks do several counties looking for some in the Thayer area. Give them a call for more information.“

“I am very well pleased with all the nurses that stop by and they would always call and let me know what time they would be here or if they were running late they would also call also they were very knowledgeable and answering my questions and if they couldn’t, I’m sure they would find a solution for me And when I would call in the receptionist was very nice to me“
