The best vets out there. My horse was lame, I thought it was just an abcess for a little while. Then it wasn't better my normal vet, who is still amazing. Recommended that I trailer her to Dr. Huck, who is also amazing. Well, my mare could not safely trailer with how lame she was. Ive had clients in the past use homestead for xrays. So I called them up. The wonderful sweet actual angel from God named Dr. Lorentz came out. She took xrays. Homestead Veterinary Hospital has been my go to veterinarian for years. Be it my performance horses or my retired, backyard lawn ornament ponies, I know my horses are in good hands with the Homestead team. Performance horses, gastroscope, floats, lameness evaluations, reproduction, general care and after hour emergencies- they do it all!
These are caring people. We took a sick cat there when our regular vet couldnt see the cat. The doc looked the cat over, took some exrays and took the time to really look at the cat. He was kind, actually concerned and diagnosed some digestive issues. He gave our cat something to calm the stomach, hydrated him and really explained what he felt the issue was, answered our questions and we could tell really loves animals. He even called us the next day to check on how things were going. They are now going to become our regular vets. We love are furry friends, we are really happy with Homestead. I definitely would recommend them.
