We took our goat in with a swollen face , a cut up ear with nerve damage , and neurological issues. They got us in the next day at 9am when we called despite us never being a patient. The doctor (Derek Craig) who was very kind and gentle, talked us through everything and pulled teeth due to injury, and administered medication + sent us home with our own to continue treatment. I was expecting all of this to leave quite a gap in my wallet, but it was VERY affordable. The desk staff was also very kind and helped us bring him in as he cannot walk and one of the vet assistant/tech comforted him and held him up despite him struggling and attempting to fall back on her.
I made an appointment at Homestead Veterinary Hospital to get a second opinion on my dog that was sick with pneumonia. Everyone was very friendly and I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Steck. He was extremely thorough and really listened to all of my concerns. I felt like he truly cared about my dog. They called several times to check on her after our appointments. I don’t see myself taking my pets to anyone else after our wonderful experience here.
I appreciate the gentle care this office gave us. The entire staff we dealt with was super! After the loss of our cat Butterscotch we received an unexpected and heartfelt card from the staff along with his footprints. Thank you to all of the staff of Homestead Veterinary Hospital.
