We had Trees, Forests & Landscapes out for a consultation, prompted primarily by a mature ash that I suspected was falling prey to emerald ash borer, but I had questions about other trees (as well as potential new trees to plant) throughout our semi-wooded lot. Since the consultation was for an hour, we quickly determined the best course of action for the ash and then walked the perimited and talked about just about every tree on the property. He found treatable disease on an oak that otherwise would have killed it as well us advanced/untreatable disease on a maple that I thought was fine but would have soon become a hazard.
