Jone's House of Shining Stars

I don't typically give reviews on anything, but I felt obligated to write something about my experience at Jones House of Shining Stars. I walked in with a new, un-shined pair of leather low-quarters and walked out with the sharpest shine I've ever had on a pair of shoes. As a member of the military, I have been shining my own shoes for the past 15 years. Duck, my shiner this afternoon, put me to shame in shoe shining ability. Take my advice and swing by there for the best, old school shine you'll get in the Saint Louis area. According to Duck's card, they're closed on Monday. The business card also says they're open on Tuesday 9-7p and Sunday 9-1p.

My number 1 discovery of 2011. Great place in St. Louis to get your dress shoes, sneakers, or other leather goods shined, restored and repaired. I lived in St. Louis for five years and can't believe I did not know about this place that has been open twice as long until after I moved. It's a barber shop type setting with shoe shine prices better than in the airport.
