However, there have been some negative experiences, such as an encounter with a rude and negative-attitude phlebotomist. The facility's cafeteria offers a decent variety of food at reasonable prices, and there is also a Starbucks on-site. The medical center has provided excellent service to veterans, with appointments being on time and wait times being short. The facility also has a small shoppette that carries essential items. While the overall experience is positive, the VA needs to establish better contracts with nursing homes in the St. Charles area to expand veteran services.
