We were at a crossroad. Do we put our mother into an assisted living facility? She could make friends, have her own little apartment! Have her own space. Be alone. We would not be able to be there every day to check on her needs. She would not have the daily love of waking up everyday with puppy kisses. She would miss out on seeing the grandchildren as they pop in and out of the house just to say “Hi, grandma, love you”.Griswold was our answer. We didn’t need them every day when we began. Griswold offered a refreshingly smooth private duty elder care experience. Griswold professionals were reliable. They showed up on time and actively interacted and engaged with my mother who was in memory care. They coordinated effectively with facility staff, PT and OT professionals, while also tracking activities and benchmarks throughout the day so I could get an accurate picture of how my mom was progressing -- or not. Each time I stopped in unannounced, the Griswold staff member was at my mother's side with their phone put away.
