Do not hire this man and his business. He doesn't finish the job. Beware of him. He's a scammer, fraud and thief. He'll take your money upfront and not complete the job. What he does is take your money upfront then cash it at convenience or liquor store then disappear to try finish other job if he ever started it before he starts on yours or come back to finish it. He's bad with money management and budget. He also owes money to other companies for the products he ordered from too. He disappeared from South City and Soulard. He is now working in Jefferson County. Do not hire him and warn everyone!

Signed a contract with A-1 and their owner John Adams on 4/16/20 to have A-1 do some landscaping, concrete work, and French Drain. He took a $5100 deposit. We were told the work would be started in 2 weeks. On 5/5 when asked, he said then said "next week". On 5/18 he said stone would be in Thursday and he would start work in a couple days and have Dig Rite come back out tomorrow. On 5/26, when asked again about start date, he replied "this week. weekend". The company again never showed up as promised and never contacted us to tell us they couldn't make it out.
