My local eye Dr. Sent me to this clinic in Kansas City, MO for my 1st visit after she emergency seen my one day due to I woke up with hardly any eye sight except large black long things. I was SCARED AND CONFUSED.... Never hearing of this & being a A1C OF 12-13
From age 28 years till probably 6 years ago. When she finished my exam I was told they were floaters and I needed a RETNA SPECIALIST AS SOON AS TRIER OFFICE COULD GET ME IN. THEY DID THAT PROBLEM WAS I LIVE IN THE VERY NORTHWEST CORNER OF MISSOURI(TARKIO) & CAR has been down. So i finally got to KC I would say a year or so after. By then the Specialist started I had SWELLING BEHIND MY PUPIL. My Aunt from Macon, MO drove up to take me. I was so scared on the way home cried some explaining i never too my meds due to diabetes "NOPE IT WONT EFFECT ME....I AM MARTHA WALLACE." Until organs started to as i say " DIE" BUT HAVE NUROPOTHY!! AND MORE THAN THAT GOT SOME HARD TRUTH WAS GAVIN UP TO SO MANY YEARS TO LIVE! I TOOK RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT RIGHT OFF!
BUT THIS? The swelling took up more space on the exrays than what was not to have it behind my pupil. I could/can CARE LESS if i have to lose a limb or wear a BM bag.....things like these. Why???? BECAUSE I CAN STILL WATCH MY SON GRADUATE THIS YEAR, BE HERE FOR MY 1 DAUGHTER & HUSBAND FUTURE CHILDREN BORN, MY OLDEST DAUGHTER WHERE ELSE IF ANY SHE GOES IN HER FIELD OF CHOICE, ALLL MY SON'S CHOICES AND HIS SISTER IN LIFE. WATCH MY GRANDKIDS!
