“I've been following Daniel on Facebook for over a year, and loved the variety and knowledge that he was able to show. Messaged him a couple times and his response time was great! Was amazing to watch how excited he gets over creating pieces for people. My husband through out some weird ideas and Daniel had a sketch in no time at all!! The amount of just sketching and drawing talent he has is fantastic.....and I haven't even mentioned how funny and entertaining this guy is.

Now for the actual tattoo work...he brought to life exactly what I wanted and if you made a suggestion he didn't blow you off, he really listened.

I'm so glad I took my time and found a great tattoo artist that made me (and my husband feel comfortable and like we've been friends forever). Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

“The atmosphere and the staff here are so welcoming, chill and fun but on top of that Kristen Hilton is a phenomenal artist. She has done both original work and reworking of a tattoo that was not done well at another shop on me and though the original piece (1st photo) she did on me is my favorite tattoo she also moved the one she reworked (2nd photo) from my least favorite tattoo up to my second favorite. The tattoo she reworked is on top of surgical scarring and a metal implant which is bad enough but it was also a reminder of a very bad tattoo/artist experience so I wasn't expecting her to be able to make me love it, but somehow she did, far more than I expected! She is an absolutely awesome human to interact with and her work is stellar. I hope I don't ever have to commission another artist to tattoo me, but if for some reason I did, I would probably look into commissioning another artist at Tattoo Coven because they all seem really awesome. I've referred friends and coworkers to Kristen as well and everyone has loved her work. I absolutely cannot recommend her enough!“

“I had a great experience at Springfield Ink! Jesse did a fantastic black sheep tattoo for me and I’m thrilled with the results. I was worried about the tattoo being too dark(sheep obv needed to be black), I’m a color tat girl for life. Jesse’s shading and detail and the beautiful flowers around the sheep made it into exactly what I had envisioned in my mind. Jesse is very talented and very kind. It was a fabulous experience!“

“I recently visited the Underground Tattoo and Gallary. I had been planning a tattoo for 12 -13 years. I wanted it to be perfect. I wanted a tattoo that would be astounding, a conversation started. I wanted to find an artist that understood my vision and could make it come to life. I talked to several artists within a few 100 miles of my location. When I talked to the underground I knew I had my people.

It Started when I called, Mandy from the moment she answer the phone to the follow up text after the tattoo she was personable and professional. She put me ease assuring me this is a tattoo that Cliff would be excited about doing and that it would be a show stopper. Mandy asked me to send her some ideas and a little background about what I’m wanting to do. When I talk to Cliff, he was prepared which made me happy because I felt like he understood what this tattoo means to me. After talking to other artist I was prepared for at least two sessions lasting approximately four hours apiece. Cliff told me he would get it done that night which was concerning. I was afraid of an eight hour session, but Cliff is a Ferrari for a Corvette price. He got done in 3.5 hours, what most artists thought would take them 8 to 10 hours to do. You would need to ask Cliff if he’s heavy-handed or light handed. My experience says light handed. (Least amount of pain) he asked me what kind of music I liked and put on music that put me at ease. We laughed and talked while he worked on my arm. Cliff’s work is authentic and speaks for itself. but the atmosphere at The Underground Tattoo and Gallary is what everyone hopes to experience when visiting a tattoo studio. I for one will never go anywhere else. If you took the time to read this, take the time to call the underground tattoo and gallery. You will not be disappointed!!“
