This review is with regard to centralized scheduling. I called the Wheeler vascular center to reschedule an echocardiogram. They were unable to do it and said I had to call my physician. I called her office, and she said I had to be transferred to Centralized scheduling. They couldn't do it because it wasn't truly CENTRALIZED scheduling (there is a different centralized scheduling for Springfield. I called the Springfield centralized scheduling and was finally able to reschedule (every call came with a 5-9 minute wait time for someone to pick up. My wife went into cox for depression and I couldn't get her to eat or take her medicine. She spent two weeks in the hospital just to be healthy enough to move to psych ward. While in the psych ward, she got a new roommate that had covid. So she was moved to the 7th E lockdown unit. Because of the depression she was placed on self harm precautions. Ok so far. But i learned that precautions brought a really severe social isolation also. 2 visitors for 20 minutes per day or 1 visitor for 40 minutes per day. So i couldn't be my wife's advocate, also I couldn't get any updates on her. For three or four days in a row I asked her nurse that she needs physical... read full review

If I could give lower than 1 star, I would. My sister was admitted into the MICU of Cox South Hospital for a hip/leg issue, but focus was on her sodium level ONLY. But what really is unhealthy is that fact there is no policy for nurses or other patient care providers to bind their long hair. It seems like the idea is that women with long hair are permitted to bend over patients regardless of how the hair hangs on the patient. Not to mention that loose long hair attracts ore germs and hair loss is more prevalent. While speaking with a nurse between myself and my sister (the patient) I wanted to get the name and realized the long hair was draped over the name tag. I asked... read full review
