I have been trying to get to find a good vet clinic for my critters and tried Flat Creek. I was very pleased with the experience, care and friendliness. They were also very compassionate when I had to let my beloved Emerald go because of cancer. I find them reasonably priced also.
They are super great, up a little pricey. But I would always take my dog here . They show awesome care to pets and they only things I have bad to say is after hours they are not able
I came across Danika's review by chance while looking into this hospital when I found out my nephew brings his dog there. I am a Licenced Veterinary Technician (30 years) in Western NY and we have been accused of her little rant over the years. She couldn't be more wrong. Yes...BIG SURPRISE!!! veterinary practices have to exist on out of pocket payment by pet owners..silly us...most pet owners do not carry the expensive pet insurance that is available. Totally understandable... Danika.. Do you realize how many people each week ask us to defer payment/comp payment? You have no idea how many animals that we veterinary hospitals do quietly take care of each year. Sadly, a single animal hospital just can't take care of all the pets that people acquire when they should not or all those poor stray/feral/abused/abandoned/ starving/hit by car animals in our small area of the world that are brought to us by good samaritans that we do treat. Maintaining the operations of an animal hospital is a TREMENDOUS amount of effort and expense. This job/career breaks our hearts daily. You have no idea what we go thru. We come to love our clients and pets and when we have to euthanize a beloved pet for them it takes a piece of our heart and soul. The pet owner is who is ultimately financially responsible for the welfare of the pet. When people bring a pet into their lives it needs to be a thoughtful decision. Do YOU have the time to spend with your puppy, kitten, bird, horse etc. Do YOU have the resources set aside for an emergency. It is an irresponsible pet owner/human that lays blame at the feet of someone else. Pets are a luxurie in our lives, not a requirement. For the animals sake. Choose wisely. Sue G., LVT
