Including but not limited rot from small leaks overtime, to the plywood not nailed onto the roof! Prayers and gravity were the only things keeping not just the shingles but the whole roof over our heads.

We had some vent ridges installed to help with the cooling upstairs, but it got considerably worse. We had some AC issues in the summer too and figured it had more to do with that.
