“I had the honor to see Dr. Pierce for a 2nd opinion after I had a stroke. Unlike the other doctor, Dr. Pierce recommended an inexpensive prism lense from 3M that I could attach to my readers and correct my double vision as I healed. The other office had cut a pair of glasses to address the problem and charged me for new glasses! Had I know that this was an option I would have not agreed to a set being made. Dr. Pierce was aware that I was seeing an eye specialist out of town as well to follow my progress yet he continued to support me and treat me with the most professional care. “Dr Mattax has been my eye doctor since 1989. I trust him and his team with all of my eye care needs. Always friendly, answers any questions openly and honestly in understandable terms. Would give 5 stars if they only took my private insurance, however they are worth the out of pocket expenses.“
