“I struggle with migraines and decided after a lot of my own research that I wanted to get my Daiths pierced. I heard about Frenchtown Tattoo from a friend. I was greeted right when I walked in and they helped me get signed in as a walk-in customer. Grasshopper did my piercings and he was very professional and friendly. He has many years of experience, he answered my questions, explained what he was doing, and made sure I was comfortable during the process. He gave me instructions verbally and written to take home on after care and the healing process. I was there from maybe 20 mins total from the time I walked in, to the time I walked out. Short and sweet. I think the pain of the procedure depends on the persons pain tolerance and the location of the piercing, but I am pleasantly surprised at how little it hurt during and even hours later. Grasshopper did an amazing job and I highly recommend him!“

“I went last night and got my septum pierced! Chelsea did the piercing and she was very patient and kind. There was hardly any blood and minimal discomfort. I was really nervous as this was my first piercing. She was fast and it was over with pretty quickly! Definitely recommend for first time piercings, and if you are nervous, don’t be! “This place was fantastic! I walked in, I’m visiting the city, they were friendly and able to accommodate me. I came in with an idea in mind for some small black tattoos, Matt was so sweet dealing with me and adjusting my placement. I mentioned I was here seeing a band and when I hit Matt up again the very next day - that evening after the bass player of said band signed my arm- to tattoo my other arm he was again very accommodating and I even walked into the shop with the bands music playing!!! Would absolutely recommend, everyone there is as professional and kind, if you get the pleasure of meeting Benny too… it’s an 11 out 10!

“Steven is the best! This was my first tattoo experience here in the city, and it was absolutely amazing!
I inquired on the website, and got a response within 48 hours via text message. Did the consult with Steven that way, and made an appointment! When I got there, Steven immediately greeted me, and he was so pleasant and kind! He made sure the tattoo was what I wanted and would match style wise with other tattoos on my arm, didn't want to clash.
He made sure it was perfect before I left. I will definitely be going through him when it is time for next tattoo!

“I have quite a few tattoos but none with major color/anime. My husband only has a few tattoos and isn't as quick to jump on getting one. For our first anniversary, he finally decided he wanted to get a tattoo with me....but we were only a couple days out and I did not want to do a walk in for a tattoo like this. I asked a couple other artists and they recommended me over to Rae. I looked at her work and loved it and hoped she could fit us in. I'm not sure what kind of miracle we had but Rae was INCREDIBLE. Starting from initial communication she was fantastic to work with. She came in on her day off for us (something I will never ask of her again haha!) but she made our anniversary so special. She's so cool, easy to talk to, and her art is freaking incredible. We literally cannot wait to come back and get our color added. I've already created a list of other pieces I want her to do, she's amazing. I also have gotten a small tattoo by Jo at a different shop before they came over to Cousin Paul's, but I wanted to give a shoutout to them because my brother and I both agree that Jo is the most gentle shader we have ever experienced in getting tattoos. The group of tattooers in this shop are top notch. They have snacks, drinks, and make you feel so welcome. And so many different styles of tattoo. I highly, highly recommend checking them out!“

“I had a great experience! Iron Age answered my questions via email in a timely manner. Furthermore, after being told I had difficult anatomy for a septum piercing by another piercing place, I went to Iron Age for a second opinion. Bayle was able to pierce my septum without issues! 2 weeks later, it is healing wonderfully! And, it looks so cool! I also got my rook pierced by Mackenzie. Another wonderful piercer :). Both ladies were so sweet and I absolutely loved their positive energies. Everyone here had a super cool and chill vibe. I will definitely be returning! :D“

“Spectacular! I called beforehand hand asking about pricing and the gentleman who answered, who ended up being my piercer was very kind and straightforward. I’d gotten my septum done before in the incorrect position and expressed that to him, and was reassured it would be pierced correctly. He was very light handed and quick and I barely felt the needle go through at all. Very welcoming staff. Only had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes to get brought back. My first time going to that shop but I will most definitely be going back for future piercings/tattoos“
