Lake Regional Home Health

Lake Regional Home Health cares for people of all ages within the comfort and convenience of their own home. Patients receive home health services when they are well enough to leave the hospital following an illness or surgery but still need care and are unable to leave home to receive it. The plan of care is very individualized. A physician orders the services, and health care professionals come to the home to provide the care. Skilled nursing and physical therapy are the most common home health services. Other services include speech and occupational therapy; certified nurse aide services; IV therapy; care for wounds, ostomies and joint replacements; social work; dietitian consultations; blood draws for lab tests; and medication reviews.
