When we got our first dog last year, we switched vets to OVMC because we weren't happy with our current vet and we knew one of the vets here. I am blown away by the dedication and compassion everyone exhibits here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the other doctors we saw were equally friendly, smart and easy to work with. Our puppy got sick with an upper respiratory that turned to pneumonia requiring her to stay day and night for 3.5 days. Techs and Dr's alike came after ours to check on our puppy which really was the extra mile. The staff was so compassionate to our puppy and us and makes it feel like a family. Dr. Vance, Erica and the staff help us greatly with with the very difficult decision to euthanize our Yorkie Jack who was failing from age and illness. Never an easy thing to do as many of you know, they showed kindness and compassion with professionalism in helping us through this. Thank you so much.
I have met with 3 different vets at this medical center over the last 6 or 7 weeks. I recently switched Vets to be closer to our home. I had to make the decision to put my sweet baby to sleep. ALL of the staff, nurses and vets have been incredibly kind and patient over the last 7 weeks as we tried to navigate what was wrong with Izzy and how we might treat her. In the future when the time is right for another rescue I will be returning to this Vet. Thank you for everything and thank you for being so kind and taking the time to really talk about her care.
