My wife and I have been taking our Great Pyrenees and cat here since we moved to Nixa in 2020. We just recently had to put our Great Pyrenees down and the folks at Nixa Animal Hospital were great. Very difficult time and they were very accommodating and made a very emotional time as good as one can during that time. We will be taking our current and future animals there in the future no question. Plus they are reasonably price.
We have been bringing both cats and dogs here since pretty close to the time they opened (nearly 10 years?) and we have never been disappointed in their service. From routine check ups and shots to helping with care through end of life they have been great for us. Would give 6 stars if I could.
Maggie at Nixa Animal Hospital is incredible. She offers in-home euthanasia and although making that decision is incredibly hard and heartbreaking, she was exceptionally professional, empathetic and kind. The process was much more private and it was easier not having to walk through a lobby crying after letting your beloved family member go. I would HIGHLY recommend this vet clinic and Maggie! You can tell that she genuinely cares and loves the animals.
