We used this venue for our wedding and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect for us. We had about 50 guests, but it can hold plenty more comfortably. They set up the tables, table cloths, and chairs for you. We used minimal decorations as the place is already gorgeous. If you're looking for a reasonably priced venue for a wedding, birthday, or other celebration, I can't recommend this place enough. The owner, Meredith, is also extremely helpful and nice.I'll add photos when we get them back from the photographer. ?
From the moment we walked in....we loved it!!! The venue is beautiful and Meredith is Amazing to work with! We had an absolute PERFECT day!!! Parking was easy for guests. Kitchen area was wonderful for caterers. Bathrooms are easily accessible for guests. They set tables and chairs up just as you ask... all you have to do is decorate! I cannot praise Meredith enough and the Ritz Place Starlight Room. Thank you so very much
What a gem! I love finding little restaurants where owners are making their dreams a reality. Tiny little deli tucked into the former Ritz theater offers wonderful homemade soups, salads and sandwiches in a cute little spot with opulent fixtures from the former movie house making you feel like you just stepped into Pleasantville except in living color! We both had loaded potato soup and Ruben sandwiches. Both were better than I expected. The soup was rich, hot AND homemade. So many places pass off frozen soups as homemade. I know, I worked in a private school that served those same soups most restaurants in Spfd pass off as homemade. I can not wait to try another next time. My Ruben sandwich is my standard I can't make up my mind order. That said I have eaten probably 50 different restaurants Rubens in my life and I can say that many use processed corned beef. I was happy to see Ritz is using pulled shredded corned beef off of a big hunk of meat. The owner is considering putting up his own sauerkraut but even so the marble rye was nicely grilled and thousand island dressing homemade. The Ritz is everything I love about leaving the city. Once off the highway wonderful diners and deli's are what makes any road trip, even just 20 miles, a real adventure filled with treasures like this one. I can't wait to go back.
