They recommend treatment options but don’t pressure you into treatments you can’t afford. Dr. Locke is the best. He really is the kindest, gentlest vet I’ve ever met. He sits on the ground & lets our small dogs approach him rather than trying to pick them up. Has been very helpful in managing our anxious pups. I’ve had positive experiences with Dr. Austen & Belew too. Not all vet clinics are created equal & Union Hill is by far the best of 3 we’ve used over the years.“

We recently had to make the hardest decision, letting our oldest dog cross the rainbow bridge. Dr Sims and the team made the entire experience peaceful for us and our girl.
From the personal touches, to helping us know that it was the best decision for our dog. They were there when we needed them the most! They gave us time, space, but also just hung out and was there. A whirlwind of emotions and they were so warm and kind.

“Hands down the best place for your cat. Are they cheap? No, they're not. But let me tell you what they ARE: experts. They are cat experts. And they aren't in a hurry. You'll leave with information overload instead of being unsure or not completely understanding. They're amazing with cats, no matter how cranky or how sick. They are honest, straightforward and they're not trying to take your money with unnecessary tests and nonsense. They are compassionate and always go the extra mile to help you. If test results come in on a Saturday, they'll call you on a Saturday even though the office isn't open. They keep in touch with you to find out how things are going and make sure you understand anything you're not sure about.

They're great with routine care, too! It's not a 10 minute in and out visit, they will completely check out everything and tell you as they go any concerns they may have. They won't rush through things and shove you out the door, it will be the most thorough exam your cat has ever had. They're also just genuinely likable people who have a great passion and love for felines.“

“I have been going to Arrowhead Vet for a couple of years. All of the staff, including Dr. Epstein, is top-tier. They are caring, personable, and consistently go above and beyond for my dog. I always leave there feeling taken care of, with my questions answered. On top of all of this, they are affordable compared to any other vet I have gone to. Highly recommend.

Also, they are a smaller operation (only 1 vet, more customer service-oriented, less corporate-feeling), if that is appealing to you.“

“Took our little kitty in this afternoon for a mysterious case of suddenly not eating/drinking. We were really happy that they got us in on such short notice as brand new patients. Everyone was very kind, the doctor was extremely gentle and thorough with the exam. She ran through all of the financial estimations and gave us options just in case we weren't able to afford certain things. The pricing turned out to be incredibly reasonable. Unfortunately our baby needs to go back in Friday for surgery but again we were pretty shocked at how fair the estimate was for that too. And i feel like Cali will be in good hands there.“
